It's the moment of truth!

I've picked the winners for this year's Moon Crest 24 Fan Art Contest!

I really enjoyed all the entries I received. Everyone had their unique style and even went so far as to change some design details on the characters - Nice! Well, I picked the winners and I will list them bellow. But first let me tell you about the prizes. First of all, the top three winners will receive points. But there's more - signed, limited edition Moon Crest 24 Volumes 1 (chapters 0 to 6) and 2 (chapters 7 to 12). These copies are now out of print as new editions will be coming out soon with completely new covers and some edited text. Now, there's a lot of differences between these books. Some of them have "Story and Art by Joao Calixto" and others "by Derek Calixto". Joao Calixto was my former name, up until recently. I changed it to Derek Calixto when I received my American Citizenship (I was born and raised in Portugal for quite a while). There's also a misprint Volume 1 ("Story and Art by Joao Calixto") that has up-side down pages. It's just a binding mistake from the printer, but otherwise perfectly readable, in other words - the pages are in the right order, just up-side down compared to the cover, which makes this copy very unique. And another thing, I didn't say I was going to have Runner-ups in the original journal page for the contest, but since I only had four entries and enough books to give to everyone, I decided to add Volume 2 to the 2nd place winner and give the Runner Up a copy of Volume 1.
